Architecture: New Buildings and New Beginnings 27th June
Presented in partnership with the Arts Institute at Bournemouth, RIBA Dorset and Arts Matrix
To coincide with the launch of a fresh new Architecture degree, the first in this region; Lee Fitzgerald Architects – the London-based practice, will be sharing their expertise and giving an insightful presentation on how they grew from a small spin-off consultancy into a specialist practice of reputation and merit.
Using hands-on demonstrations with three buildings they have produced for the Arts Institute at Bournemouth learn how working with their clients, they handle the entire creative process from developing their initial ideas using models and drawings; through to the use of computer generated 3D models and more traditional models; right on through to the process of building a flagship monument.
Simon Beeson, ex-Edinburgh School of Arts and the recently appointed Course Leader for BA(Hons) Architecture will also take the opportunity to introduce this new course and discuss ways in which he sees the link between business, community and the various schools and courses available at the Arts Institute at Bournemouth will help not only his course but your business grow.
