rb studio
Architecture practice, rbstudio, is the latest business start-up to launch at the Enterprise Pavilion in Poole. Giving a further boost to the region’s creative industries, rbstudio aims to address the growing demand for contemporary and environmentally sustainable designed buildings in the south.
Working with individual clients, companies, developers and agents rbstudio specialise in bespoke contemporary eco-friendly design for residential, commercial, retail and educational projects.
rbstudio is co-founded and headed up by local architects, Laurence Bowen and Paul Robinson. With more than 10 years combined experience delivering small to large contract projects in varied sectors, the practice also offers photography, interior design, urban design and 3D visualisation services as part of a complete design solution.
Both rbstudio founders were previously co-founders and Design Directors of Hampshire based architectural practice cube_design, and managed a team of 18 architects and projects up to the value of 40m. This included high profile clients and projects such as BRDC at Silverstone Racing Circuit, Redrow Homes and Kew Primary School. Prior to this, both were employed at Bournemouth based practice Terence O’Rourke.
Paul Robinson says ‘rbstudio is about making a positive difference to the way people live. We strongly believe that good design should be accessible to everyone. Our goal is to create innovative, functional and aesthetically pleasing designs which enhance the environment and the lifestyle of the people who use the building.’
Laurence Bowen continues, ‘our fresh approach ensures that we both meet and surpass clients expectations by challenging preconceived notions of everyday environments.’
